On 20th April 2021 two resource persons from e-CIRCLE conducted a workshop on Electronic and Electrical waste management with the second semester students of KROS College. A total of 30 students participated in the workshop and they were divided into 6 groups and seated accordingly. The workshop was conducted in four sessions, where in the first session the students learned about what is e-waste and under which or in what condition can an item be termed as e-waste. The second session was titled ‘The Life Cycle of an e-waste and why it should be managed sustainably. In the third session The E-waste Management Rules 2018 was briefly discussed with the students. And lastly on the last session the students made chart arts on their learning throughout the workshop and presented it briefly. The sessions turned out productive as all the sessions were focused on making the students more interactive with the resource persons by engaging them in discussions and activities.
