The N.S.S Committee of KROS College in collaboration with Kripa Foundation, Nagaland organised a program on 23rd of March, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Vino Hall. The topic of the program was “Training of peer educator on substance use prevention”. The speaker of the program was Mr.Bendang Imsong, co-ordinator SLCA, Kripa Foundation, Nagaland. The program was initiated via zoom video conferencing. A total of 250 N.S.S members of the college attented the program. The speaker highlighted on the negative effects of drugs be it in the form of alcohol, tobacco or any other substance. The talk was highlighted with the use of audio visual aids and also sensitised the students on how the government of India is taking initiatives and how we as an individual can bring about social change. The N.S.S committee is highly grateful to Kripa Foundation Nagaland, for giving us the platform to know about such a current and important issue.
