A program was held at KROS College, Kohima on 23rd March 2022, at 2:30 pm, on ‘Gender Sensitization’, oraganized by the Women’s Committee of KROS College, where the speakers, Mr. Hinoca K Assumi (Principal, KC), Mrs. Avelu Resuh (HOD, History), and Miss Noyingbeni T. Erui (Asst. professor, English) talked about the gender inequality faced in Indian society through various stereotypes. The students were given various ways which could help improve their mentality on how an individual should treat their opposite gender. Importance of gender health, hygiene, issues of harassment, safety measures and dressing etiquettes were also discussed.
