Life on earth offers a choice between love and hatred, light and darkness, positive attitude and negative attitude, obedience and disobedience, good and bad, etc. The choice you make actually decides your life to be worthy, beautiful and meaningful or worthless and ultimately to eternal joy or eternal groaning.
Life given to everyone is meant to be beautiful and meaningful. Amazing! However, its our choice!
Life without love is worthless. But life is awesome and meaningful when there is love. Life is all about love. This love has got nothing to associate with ‘ism’, quarrel, envy, jealousy, revenge, self-centeredness, complexities, hopelessness and anything which is not worthy.
If you have love, your perception will become free from ‘isms’, quarrellings, envies, jealousies, revenges, self- centeredness, complexities, hopelessness, etc and you will have the secret to leave a legacy. Take one instance, when there is ‘ism’ in a person’s perspective, his/her world can be exactly referred to that of a ‘frog in a well’, when ‘a well’ may be just a small spot in this vast universe. Take another instance, in a family, when special attention is drawn to a particular child only because the child is male, no doubt there is prevalence of favouritism. The consequence for such an evil is indeed ‘Terrific!’ The amount of loss incurred to such a particular family will be immeasurable. However, a family build on love can be a channel of good things that is incredible to the world. Quarrels between nations never benefit, rather ends in destruction, loss of many precious lives, resources and wealth. Envy and jealousy produces hatred which ultimately leads to bloodshed. Repaying evil for an evil never prospers.
As life sails on, you may come across different kinds of people and at one point of time you may find out shortcomings and weaknesses in people’s life as you compare them with yourself. If you are overpowered by love then you will accept them. Moreover, you will reach out to them in overcoming their shortcomings and weaknesses because you have been purged by love. Love will not allow you to criticize and be acrimonious to them but will make you realise that they are helpless and in need of motivation in those areas of their lives. Love will not allow you to neglect them. Either rich or poor, educated or uneducated, civilized or uncivilized, whatever the case may be, the amount of love in you will compel you to associate with them harmoniously never allowing you to create complexity within yourself, either superior or inferior. You will do so because you believe that they are as special as you are.
When people succeed in life, you are the one who will celebrate wholeheartedly- You will be delighted to see people attain true success in life.
You are here on earth for a purpose and your love will help you to stand firm and press on towards the goal of your life, never giving up even when you have to go through the darkest hour. (You will believe you are destined to win and never be a loser.)
Learning how to love is the most important lesson we are to learn on earth. Of course, it takes a lifetime to learn it! You learn to give your precious time for the welfare of other people. Mother Teresa selflessly has served the downtrodden and needy people. Nothing else but the love within her compelled her to do that! The love she gave out turned out to be an enduring impact to the rest of the world. She said: “Its not what you do, but how much love you put into it that matters.”
Who can resist the Divine Love of God? We have never resisted and will never resist the Divine Love of God! Then can we ever imagine that other people will resist the love we can give to them? Indeed, the love we give to others become the most enduring impact on them.
The more we grow in love, the more capable and priviledged we become to make valuable contributions to the people around us; one should keep in mind the starting point is from our family and then to the rest of the world during our short span of life here on earth.
Rick Warren beautifully wrote: “The best use of life is love. The best expression of love is time. The best time to love is now.”
A love filled life leaves an enduring positive impact on earth. Love will last forever. Let love lift up and lead us towards the attainment of an everlasting victorious life.
