The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of KROC College, Kohima in compliance to Higher Education, Nagaland to commemorate 75th years of India’s Independence – Azad Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) organised a photography competition on the theme “Promoting Local Tourism in Nagaland”, scheduled on 27th of June, 2022.
Mr. Manyap, Secretary, Photography and Movie Club, NIT, Nagaland was the judge of the event. He stated, “in general, everyone’s photography was very nice. I enjoyed a lot viewing different aesthetics and mesmerizing photographs”. This are the parameters set based on which the winners were selected: originality, photography that centres on the theme, minimum/or no colour enhancement, pictures that convey a story, properly photographed and creativity.
The two photographs that best fit the above mentioned parameters were a photograph by Martha Ms. Limbu, a student of B. A 3rd semester and she is adjudged as the winner. The runner-up is Ms. Vekulu of B.A 5th semester.
